About

Beatrice Millar

Beatrice was the first British student in over 60 years to graduate from the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in the Russian program. Upon graduating she was invited to join the State Opera and Ballet Theatre of Saransk. The following season, she danced in Moscow with both Kasatkina and Vasilyov State Academic Classical Ballet Theatre and Moscow Classical Ballet, performing in productions including Giselle, Swan Lake, Don Quixote, and Walpurgis Night.

In 2024, she was invited to perform the Lilac Fairy in Sleeping Beauty with Cork City Ballet. Her years in Moscow — arriving at 13 without speaking the language — taught her adaptability, independence, and a deep dedication to her craft.

With a strong musical background and experience choreographing for the Bolshoi Ballet Academy's graduation exams, Beatrice brings both artistry and musicality to her teaching, holding a professional ballet and teaching diploma from the Bolshoi Ballet Academy.

About Ouro Studios

Ouro Studios began as ballet, and it will always be built on ballet's discipline, but the aim is never technique for its own sake. As the practice grows to include meditation, breath, yoga, and sculpt, the thread stays the same: training the body to bring you back to something deeper, not just building physicality.

Every exercise here is meant to do two things at once: advance you technically, and return you to whatever it was that first pulled you toward this practice. Not performance. Not perfection. The feeling underneath it.
